Anamol Mani is Nepal born Canadian Author, poet and story teller. Over the three decades, he has worked in a wide variety of literary writing in Nepali language.
His first short story collection, नीलिमा र गाढा अँध्यारो (Neelima and Pitch Darkness), was published in 2009. The book has been the subject of several Master’s thesis at Tribhuvan University. His most recent anthology of short stories, 19 Number (2017), continues to showcase his literary depth and narrative craft.
Anamol Mani is also a contributing writer for Looking Back, Moving Forward (2018), published by Mawenzi House in Toronto, Canada. His other publications include सबुत (Evidence, 2011), आजका नेपाली कथा (Contemporary Nepalese Stories, 2011), and नदी किनारमा उभिएर (Standing Beside the River, 2004). His audiobook version of नीलिमा र गाढा अँध्यारो (Neelima and Pitch Darkness) was released in 2010.
He holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and has extensive experience working with leading newspapers, radio, and news magazines, including Kantipur National Daily, published by Nepal’s prominent media house, Kantipur Publications.
Now, Anamol Mani resides in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He was selected for the Borderlines Writers Circle Program (2015–2016) in Alberta and was a recipient of the Edward R. Murrow Program for Journalists in 2011, awarded by the U.S. Department of State.
